This is a very special Seva of the lord.The marraige of the Lord Venkateswara with Goddess Lakshmi and Padamvathi,known as Kalayanotsavam, is a function few of the his devotees would like miss.There are two categories in this Seva. Kalyanotsavam ritual which is regularly held at the Tirumala Temple is now performed in various towns and cities in India by TTD to propagate spiritual values among the people. The rituals followed in the divine marriage ceremony are similar to those observed during Hindu marriages. The utsava murti or idol of Lord Balaji is the bridegroom and his consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi are the brides in the celestial wedding.
